We will be performing road work on Cone Rd.  

300 feet, 3 inches deep 3/4- gravel will be put down in the critical area of this road.  We are hoping for Mid May to complete this project.

The cost of this project will be approximately $1100.00 of materials with $1550.00 inkind donations in the way of volunteer time, and value of equipment used .  The gravel will be laid out in a one lane strip down the middle concentrating on a steep crown.  

It is very unfortunate that during the previous work on Cone large burms were left on each side of the road.  These burms would be very expensive to remove .  Spreading the dirt and rock back onto the road would cause very soft, muddy surface.  It has been decided that leaving the burms is the best action for now.
